And as I'm typing this the hubs and I are planning out the next steps for the kitchen and trying to figure out if we can finish it this weekend.
Just kidding.
There's zero possibility of finishing this weekend. But we *might* get our upper cabinets back on the wall, which would be pretty close. Keep your fingers crossed! Which brings us to the all-important question - what's on your weekend to-do list? Any projects getting finished? Walls torn down? Puppies snuggled?
My crazy 9 weeks pregnant with child #8 friend ran that same race. I watched HGTV. This weekend, there will be some hunting - opening weekend! - and birthday celebrations at the casino!

ReplyDeleteI think we might be finishing up crown in the powder room and starting a farm house table. Nate was looking up plans on his own. Weird. Glad I got him to thinking it was his idea because we are full steam ahead now. :P And there is always dog snuggling at our house.
weekend list: caulk loose bricks on chimney, tear down outdoor patio furniture, mow lawn one last time, winterize lawn mower, put up window plastic, price out some new water softeners, clean basement, clean garage, kill some weeds for spring grass planting, install some new sconce lighting in basement bathroom, buy/install some shelving in bathroom closet
ReplyDeleteWe're officially on a project break at the moment, partially due to the massive foundation issue, which may require all of our available funds and then some. And partially because we're burned out. That darn bathroom remodel just about eradicated the love of house projects.
