The gift is nothing earth shattering. Using my newly re-discovered crochet skills I whipped up a scarf (and I'm halfway through another). These scarves will be on their way to Operation Gratitude as part of their Scarves for Troops project.
A scarf feels pretty insignificant when I think about our troops being so far from their families for Christmas, but since I can't bring them home hopefully I can bring a little bit of home to them.
For any of you who are serving or have loved ones serving our country, thank you. I wish there was more I could do. But for now, I'm off to finish my second scarf because I need to get these in the mail tomorrow!
Check out the four lovely Dare to DIY hosts and their gorgeous projects. I can't wait to tackle next week's project - decorations!

I want to be more like you blog buddy. Way to use your crocheting for good. (And your work is impressive.) Very thoughtful. I will hopefully be able to whip at least one up for this. Thanks for joining the Dare to DIY!!
